School Counselor

A school counselor's time and energy are stretched thin. We schedule, collaborate, support, encourage, and teach
while switching between roles of counselor, secretary, testing coordinator, and facilitator of anything from at-risk to school to work.
If there's a committee, we're probably on it.  As counselors, we share common goals, let's also share resources.

Mental Health Resources & Messages

Want your staff to have more information about mental health?
Consider a 20 minute, public service-type message-- it's concise, gives solid information, and doesn't tax co-workers' attention spans.
These messages are prepped and ready to present.

Mindfulness
Mindfulness resources-- what is it, how to get started with just 30 seconds, apps, and more.  Click here for info.

Staff Support,
 Classroom Support & Book Discussions

Staff Mental Health Support- for you and your staff!
Classroom Support- classroom management support with the whole child in mind.
Book discussions--select your "big read," then meet just once for an hour to discuss the book.  You'll have better participation and the discussion will continue in the halls and at lunch in weeks to come.
